In our gorgeous award winning property we have 4 stunning luxury designer ensuite rooms each with their private hot tub area.
We are a couples only property ensuring relaxation vibes only, sorry party people, we only cater for two people per room
We are very down to earth, very friendly and warm, extremely accommodating, very approachable and we just simply dog and animal daft! Nestled in the heart of beautiful rolling hills, our luxury farmhouse offers an idyllic escape into nature. Each of our four designer ensuite rooms features a private luxury hot tub, perfect for unwinding in total serenity. Surrounded by deer, rabbits, foxes, birds, chickens, horses, and all kinds of wildlife, it's a peaceful haven where you can truly switch off and reconnect with the countryside. Pure luxury, pure tranquillity.
Breakfast in bed is optional which is an additional £15 per person, all homemade and fresh, (try our famous pancakes)
We have a fully equipped gym at no extra charge and of course your own luxury private hot tub included in your room no extra

I stayed at the grumpy schnauzer on 31/12/25. This was of course New Year’s Eve. Everything about the stay was perfect. We arrived and were warmly welcomed by David, he showed us around and explained how to work the hot tub. He was so friendly and thorough with his information.
The room was insane! We stayed in the green monkey room. The room was huge, it had absolutely everything we needed in it.
The hosts really think of everything, we had a dental kit, miniature shampoos, robes, slippers, an ice machine, ear plugs, a little packet of jelly beans, a bottle of Prosecco on arrival and nye glasses and party hats. That’s just some of what they have in the room, plenty more extra touches that definitely don’t go unnoticed. They put so much effort in to go above and beyond for their guests and it really shows. The hot tub was perfect, it was really private and closed off which was nice.
The bed was so comfortable and the TV was huge! The breakfast was so amazing, we went for the Nutella bagel and the pancakes. Both so tasty! The orange juice was so fresh too, we had the best stay here and we celebrated the new year in a relaxed, homely atmosphere.
We’ll 100% be back and I definitely recommend here for couples!

Such very relaxed chilled atmosphere with friendly hosts,high standards of cleanliness with everything you need at your fingertips.
Highly recommend breakfast which was amazing and delivered to our room too,hot tub in room was a great experience aswell

Each luxury en-suite room features a huge comfortable bed, large smart TV, with IPTV, robes, slippers, and thoughtful extras to make your stay special.

How far are the properties from the nearest restaurant or shop?
The Grumpy Schnauzer is just 2mins away from everything we are right in the midde of Coatbridge and Airdrie. If you didnt want to venture out Uber Eats and Just eat delivery pretty much anything you want in 30mins!

Yes, The Grumpy Schnauzer has free private parking spaces available for guests. We also have an E-Charger

What is the check-in and check-out time?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. If you need flexible times, feel free to contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Are we family and dog friendly?
We are adults only and we are designed for a quiet relaxing stay in our luxury room. We dont accept dogs as we have 5 resident Schnauzer on the property. We dont allow dogs in the rooms.
